Optics & Photonics Japan 2024
Optics & Photonics Japan 2024 (OPJ2024) is the leading conference for optics and photonics research and information dissemination in Japan. This year, the conference will be held in Tokyo, marking a special return to the city after three years.
Scope and Topics
The conference covers a wide range of areas related to light, including nanophotonics, quantum optics, information photonics, vision optics, optical measurements, biomedical optics, and optical design, extending to X-ray and EUV optics.
Event Details
OPJ2024 is scheduled from 29 November to 01 December 2024 at The University of Electro-Communications in Chofu, Tokyo. The event is sponsored by the Optical Society of Japan (OSJ) and co-sponsored by the Photonics Division of The Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP).
Special Programs
In addition to general presentations, OPJ2024 will feature international symposiums with special lectures from OPTICA, SPIE, and the European Optical Society (EOS), and invited lectures from overseas societies, as well as joint symposiums with various domestic societies.
Networking and Social Events
Similar to last year, OPJ2024 will prioritize in-person presentations, offering attendees the chance to engage in lively discussions and reconnect with colleagues in the industry at the banquet held at Chofu Creston Hotel on the opening day.
